January 2015 Chapter Meeting Recap
On Thursday, January 15th, the Hellenic Chapter of the MTA held its second meeting featuring Professor Costas Siriopoulos. Professor Siriopoulos is the Research Professor of Financial Economics, Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. In his presentation, he shared with us a historical overview of Technical Analysis from an academic standpoint and also presented a proprietary indicator (COSI) to spot extreme momentum & price divergences.

The event had press & TV coverage, as SBC TV filmed the event and also did a short interview with the presenter (which will be provided shortly). The Chapter Meeting enjoyed an attendance of around 40 people, which is quite encouraging given that it was only the second meeting. We are very optimistic on the growing prespects of the Chapter.

If you are interested in presenting at the Hellenic or UK Chapter of the MTA, please contact Alex Spiroglou atalex@TraderTD.com

If you are in the UAE region, Alex could could also get you in contact with Professor Siriopoulos, who is extremely pro-Technical Analysis and friendly.
