DATE
Thursday, April 29, 2021
Friday, April 30, 2021
TIME FOR BOTH DAYS
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST (GMT-5)
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM EST (GMT-5)
AGENDA
Thursday Morning
Presentations will focus on Treasury Yields and rates as they impact other asset classes. These sessions will cover a global macro view of central bank intervention and broad economic activity as well as leading economic indicators that provide a view on markets as countries return to pre-pandemic levels of economic productivity.
Thursday Afternoon
Presenters will focus on Digital and Fiat currencies. A key theme of these sessions will be to unpack historical sensitivity or resistance to inflationary forces. Speakers will address digital assets as a store of value, comparing cryptocurrencies to G10 and emerging market currency baskets. Perhaps most importantly, attendees will understand how technical tools can help asset managers manage risk and take advantage of trends for better fund performance.
Friday Morning
The focus is the Commodities space. Building on Thursday sessions, speakers will highlight cross-asset signals coming from the metals and soft commodities. With important trends emerging in the energy space, asset managers directly tied to the oil and gas markets will take a deep dive into the key levels they are watching to determine intermediate to long-term trends across the fossil fuels vertical.
Friday Afternoon
The topics will focus on US Equity markets & Key Global Indices. After a record-breaking year in 2020 and a return to volatility, the technical toolkit has become imperative for institutional and retail investors alike. Understanding the tools and process of technical market analysts will help attendees understand important market internals such as breadth, volume and relative strength that are critical to navigating volatile markets delivering swift rotation and excessive speculation.
