The CMT Association published the 67th issue of the Journal of Technical Analysis (JOTA) this month. Chair of the Committee, Julie Dahlquist, Ph.D. CMT, and the entire editorial board have created an outstanding compendium of technical research highlighting the diversity of topics of interest to the technical analyst. Issue 67 of the JOTA can be viewed here. In addition to electronic distribution, academics studying technical analysis and other market practitioners can access this research online via the CMT Association Knowledge Base. To read past issues of the JOTA, simply click here. The mission of the JOTA is to advance the knowledge and understanding of technical analysis. We achieve this goal through the publication of well-crafted, high-quality research in all areas of technical analysis. Our success depends upon the time, energy and commitment of authors and researchers who expand our understanding of the market and fuel innovation and new applications of our discipline. The production of each issue is a complex process, requiring the assistance of many individuals. Once papers are submitted for consideration, they are subjected to a double-blind review process. Each paper is reviewed by at least two experts who provide feedback regarding the accuracy of the work producing objective and unbiased peer reviews. The CMT Association looks forward to further expanding the field of technical analysis and sharing the body of knowledge with our global community. As members of the Market Technicians Association, we encourage you to share this publication with your colleagues and any prospective authors and submit your future research to the JOTA, as well. If you have any questions about the JOTA, are considering submitting an article for a future issue, or would like to serve as a reviewer, please contact our Journal Committee Chair, Julie Dahlquist, Ph.D., CMT. As the CMT Association begins work on Issue 68 of the JOTA, we encourage all professional writers to reach out if interested in submitting scholarly work.
Striving to further the profession with diverse opportunities in continuing education, advocacy, ethics awareness, and networking.
