Charles Hwang is the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager of Lightning Capital. Before founding Lightning, Mr. Hwang was a valuation consultant and a forensic accountant at Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Equity Trader since May 2000 where he successfully capitalized on both the dot com bust and the financial crisis. Over the past three years, Mr. Hwang has been heavily involved within the blockchain and altcoin communities and has personally invested in multiple tokens. He is an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College teaching a course on blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.
