Chris Cady is a trader and quantitative developer on the Intercontinental Exchange, as well as a Quantitative Trading Researcher at web services group Powerweave. He got his start trading markets in 1980 from Walter Frank Sr., then-chairman of the NYSE. In 1984 he became a student of Victor Sperandeo, aka Trader Vic of Market Wizards fame, and in 1991 became a student of Peter Steidlmayer, creator of Market Profile. Chris has been a member of both New York and Chicago exchanges for over 30 years, and has had a front row seat throughout the market’s transition from floor to electronic trading.
