Edwin Retter, CMT, CFP® is a financial planner and founder of Retter Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm in Melbourne, Florida. He assists families in managing wealth and provides technical analysis and guidance to other financial advisers.

Prior to establishing his own firm in 2013, Edwin worked for 15 years at a regional broker-dealer. During this time, he was an integral part of a successful practice and specialized in client service, client advisory and portfolio management roles, as well as business management functions. 

He earned the CMT designation in 2017 and CFP® certification in 2021. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Management & Flight, with Honors, from the Florida Institute of Technology and is an FAA-certificated, multi-engine commercial pilot and aircraft dispatcher. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, and spending his formative years in the northeastern United States, Edwin resides in Melbourne with his wife, Traci, an English teacher.
