Ehtesham is a seasoned investment professional with senior-level equity portfolio management experience spanning more than 15 years in frontier and emerging markets.
He has previously managed assets worth more than PKR 3,000 Million, in one of leading Pakistan’s sovereign funds in his decade-long stay as Head of Capital Market Group & Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Khan’s work spans across major asset classes (listed equities, commodities & FX) and his expertise includes strategic investment management, quantitative analysis, advanced technical research, and active Portfolio Management. He brings with him extensive and in-depth technical knowledge of regional markets (TASI, DFMGI, ADI, PSX, BSEESN, KLSE, BIST, JKSE & QSI).
Ehtesham holds the honor of becoming Pakistan’s first CMT (Chartered Market Technician) & CFTe (Certified Financial Technician) Charterholder, which is a gold standard in the field of Technical research & quantitative analysis approach.
Mr. Khan holds a graduate degree in Computer Science, Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance), passed CFA Exam and completed a specialization in Business and Financial Modeling from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
