Jonathan Burson is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Cedarville University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business (Finance) from Auburn University. He also has an M.B.A. in International Business, a Master’s in Military Operational Art & Science, and a B.A. in Computer Information Systems. He is the faculty advisor for the Student- Managed Investment Fund in which the students oversee a portfolio of stocks, actively engaging in investment and risk-management decisions. His scholarly interests span behavioral finance, investments, real estate, and technical analysis, and he has published multiple articles in those areas. Prior to joining the faculty at Cedarville, Jonathan spent 15 years in the United States Air Force.
