Oliver Woolf, who holds a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, is a Technical Analysis & Data Visualization Specialist at Bloomberg. Working closely with the company’s product development team at the forefront of financial technology with big data, he advises clients on innovative methods for data interpretation, whether through innovative quantitative studies or new visual concepts. In his quest to uncover fresh ideas he is also certified in risk management (FRM) and alternative investments (CAIA).

He writes for various Bloomberg publications such as the Quarterly Technical Analysis Brief, has lectured at various universities and financial forums and has appeared on Bloomberg TV in Europe. With a degree in modern languages he previously worked in Bloomberg’s FX business in Iberia.
