Owen Cupp is the Chief Technology Officer for Marketing Corporation of America and Director of an Operating Unit at Northrop Grumman, dedicated to delivering innovative high technology and strategic program management for Fortune 100 companies and the U.S. Government. Owen played an intricate part with the Lantronix corporate team in producing a computer networking device pioneering the “internet of things,” which won the 2005 Innovation of the Year Award from Electronic Design Magazine in Embedded Systems.
His education includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from California State University, Fullerton with concentrations in chaos theory, RF photonics and robotics. He also holds an MBA – Finance Concentration from the top-10-ranked business program at Washington State University.
Owen is the Chair of the Los Angeles Chapter of CMT Association. He serves on the Executive Boards of the Orange County Entrepreneurial Network (OCEN) and Optical Society of America (OSA-OSSC).
