Paul de Leon is an Institutional Portfolio Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments in Short Hills, New Jersey with over twenty-five years of experience in the industry. He joined the Franklin Mutual Series team in 2010 as an institutional portfolio manager. As a member of the investment team, he helps communicate the current strategy, portfolio positioning and outlook to external decision makers, domestic and international clients.
Prior to joining Franklin Mutual Series, Paul worked at firms including Alliance Bernstein, Lazard Asset Management, and Loomis Sayles. He managed domestic value equities at Loomis Sayles as a portfolio manager. At Lazard Asset Management, he was a client portfolio manager for global value equity portfolios out of their New York City office. At AllianceBernstein, he worked with some of the largest institutional investment consulting firms developing advocacy for Bernstein’s international and global value equity mandates.
Paul earned his B.S. in engineering at Cornell University and his M.B.A. in finance at The UCLA Anderson School of Management. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder designation.
