Membership NoticeEffective July 1, 2014 the CMT Association Board of Directors will transition to your newly elected leadership. As voted on by the Members of the CMT Association, the new slate of directors was approved and ratified at the annual meeting held May 16th in Boston, MA.

The CMT Association welcomes James Brodie, CMT and Brett Villaume, CMT, CAIA who are each serving their first term.
James Brodie, CMT (Director at Large) James has over 20 years of financial market experience, and has been based in; London, New York, Tokyo and Singapore. With Credit Suisse and TD Securities he traded primarily interest rate derivatives and FX Fwds. James is currently the CIO of the Sherpa Funds, a fully automated, algorithmic hedge fund. He also lectures regularly on technical analysis throughout the Asia-Pacific region. His clients include: Citibank, B.P., OCBC, Nomura, DBS, BTMU, JP Morgan and CME Group. James founded the Singapore chapter of the Market Technicians Association and has been interviewed live on Bloomberg television on numerous occasions. James was a three time national rowing champion of Great Britain, won medals at three consecutive U23 world championships and now competes in Ironman triathlons. James is also an owner/director of Grotesque Media, a company producing APPS for stars of the sports and entertainment industries.
Brett Villaume, CMT, CAIA (Secretary) Brett is a Research Analyst with FIG Partners, a boutique broker/dealer specializing in Bank and Thrift equity investments. He has over 14 years of experience as a professional technical research analyst. Brett believes strongly in the value of a combined fundamental and technical approach to market and stock analysis. His work emphasizes relative strength and inter-market relationships. Brett is also an adjunct professor of Technical Analysis at Golden Gate University. Brett previously served as Chair of the Atlanta and San Francisco Chapters of the CMT Association and serves as a Board Officer of the TSAA-SF.
