With a BS UMass and an ME Northeastern, both in chemical engineering, she worked in that field for 10 years before beginning her trading career at Chevron International. She traded physical cargos of crude oil and refined products, as well as energy futures and derivatives for Chemical Bank, and then acted as an advisor on technical analysis and energy hedging to what is now Saudi Aramco. Cynthia has advised major corporations and institutions on energy hedging and trading strategies, as well as designed technical analysis studies and forecasting programs including her acclaimed Kase Statware.
