Salih Yilmaz is one of the senior analysts at Bloomberg Intelligence where he has worked in energy finance and research for over 10 years. He covers a wide range of companies in EMEA including Saudi Aramco, Sabic and Repsol. He leads Bloomberg Intelligence’s research on OPEC and oil as a commodity, and regularly publishes reports that focus on OPEC strategy and oil market balance.

Before joining Bloomberg Intelligence, he worked in investment banking focusing on the energy sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, and an MPhil in Finance from The University of Cambridge. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
