Abhiranjan Gupta has been part of the evolving Indian financial sector for the last 18 years.
Currently, he is Chief Investment Officer at HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Ltd and is managing investment assets of around USD 2 billion invested across various asset classes.
Abhiranjan Gupta has been part of “Working Group on Investment” at IRDAI (Insurance Regulator in India). He is instrumental in issuance of subordinate debt (INR 3.5 bn) for the company.
Mr Gupta is recognized among top 10 Most Astute Investor in local currency bond market in India in 2017 by The Asset magazine, Singapore. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He attended Chevening Financial Services Leadership Program at Kings College, London and Management leadership program at IIM Bangalore.
