Andy Chen, who holds a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, is a trader at Maso Capital. Previously, he was the Asia Senior Trader for Hutchin Hill Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund headquartered in New York. Prior to joining Hutchin Hill, Andy served as the Senior Trader for Allianz Global Investors for 8 years. Andy has also held management roles with JF Asset Management, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Asset Management (Asia) Ltd and Polaris Securities in Taiwan.
Committed to education at every level, Andy actively supports Save the Children International. He is an active member of the CMT Association, Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. After completing his secondary education in Pretoria, South Africa, Andy earned his B.Com in Economics and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. In his free time, Andy enjoys Chess, Basketball, and watching movies with his family.
