Deborah Cernauskas is an Associate Professor of Finance and Business Analytics and Chair for Undergraduate Business at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. She has extensive experience in academia and industry applying her quantitative skills in commodities trading research, corporate development, market research, and financial management. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in derivatives, financial management, time series analysis, statistics, agent-based modeling, data and text mining and social network analysis.
While at Benedictine University she co-founded the Institute for Business Analytics and Visualization which provides experiential learning opportunities for students in all areas of business. She is the author and co-author of several books and journal articles on risk management and quantitative methods.
