Fred Schutzman, a former Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), has been a portfolio manager, led technical research and development teams, and overseen the programming of proprietary trading systems. He has designed over 100 proprietary profitable trading systems since 1988.
Fred has lectured around the world on the subject of technical analysis, been a guest on financial media numerous times, and written professional articles. He was a contributing author to John J. Murphy’s book Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets and was profiled in Dr. Alexander Elder’s book Entries & Exits. He joined the CMT Association in 1985.
