Kimberly Sokoloff, Vice President of Institutional Sales at Odeon Capital Group LLC
Kim has twenty years of Wall Street experience – primarily focused on equity trading and technical research for institutional and high net worth clients. She began her career in 1997 at Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC; an investment banking boutique in New York where she was an agency equity trader for four years. In 2001, Kim joined Brown Brothers Harriman, where she was an associate with the Institutional Equity Sales and Trading group. In 2004, Kim joined E&J Securities on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, where she was involved in every aspect of their direct access trading business. Drawing upon her considerable technical expertise, she returned to Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC in 2007 as a Senior Vice President in the firm’s Equity Sales division. In 2011, Kim began to consult for MND Partners, followed by Chaikin Analytics. Kim worked at Allied Millennial Partners, LLC as The Institutional Market Strategist. Allied Millennial Partners is an Independent Financial Services firm headquartered at Three World Financial Center in New York City, providing long and short-term strategies to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Organizations. Currently Kim works at Odeon Capital Group in institutional sales.
Kim’s top down research, including selective sector research, has been highly valued by institutional clients. Kim provides clients with in-depth, individual portfolio analysis in order to help manage their P&L. Her bottom-up stock selections play a key role during these client interactions. Kim favors a smaller client base, enabling her to provide a high level of customized and accessible service, not to mention a high level of customer satisfaction.
Kim is a graduate of The University of Delaware, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in business marketing and management. Kim is a Charted Market Technician and grades for the CMT level three exam for about 8 years now. She currently resides in New York City, and enjoys biking, running and reading technical charts.
