Prior to joining JonesTrading, Mike was a market strategist at BTIG, publishing a similar brief known as Bedtime with BTIG. His work has been cited in several periodicals, most notably Barron’s, and he appears regularly on CNBC, Bloomberg Television and the Fox Business Network.
Mike began his investment career in 1995 with Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (SLK), which was later acquired by Goldman Sachs, working on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He gained industry recognition as a NASDAQ Market Maker for SLK, trading technology stocks in the late 1990s. He holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation.
