He began his career with seven years in Forex and commodity advisory services and is now a coffee trader at one of India’s leading coffee exporters.

His market analysis focuses on intermarket analysis, which helps him understand broader market trends, while his trading decisions are refined by analyzing individual asset classes and sectors.

In addition to regular market analysis, he brings extensive experience in commodity risk management, utilizing instruments such as futures and options.

Umakanth holds an MBA in Finance from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and regularly employs technical tools like Elliott Wave, momentum setups, agricultural seasonality, and futures and options in his work.
