Jack Kosar is the Vice President of Investment Strategy at Asbury Research in the Greater Chicago Area, where he specializes in developing robust financial strategies that enhance portfolio performance and client satisfaction. With a Master of Science in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, Jack has cultivated a deep expertise in investment analysis and strategy formulation.
Prior to his current role, Jack honed his analytical skills as an Investment Analyst at Symetra and as a Product Owner and Fixed Income Business Analyst at Allvue Systems. He began his career at Northern Trust Corporation, progressing through various positions and establishing a solid foundation in asset servicing for hedge fund services.
Jack is proficient in Microsoft Office and has a flair for implementing digital transformations, as evidenced by his efforts to spearhead a social media campaign and revamp digital operations at previous organizations.
Outside of his professional life, Jack is an avid sports enthusiast who played four years of baseball and threw javelin for the track team at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He remains active in sports by coaching his children’s baseball teams, reflecting his commitment to community and youth development. When not on the field or in the office, Jack enjoys lifting weights and is a grilling aficionado, bringing the same passion to his personal pursuits as he does to his professional endeavors.
