Tom Robson is U.A.E and Kuwait Country Manager for Bloomberg L.P and current Co-Chair for the CMT’s Dubai Chapter.

Tom has over 16 years of experience in financial markets consultancy, sales, trading, structuring and risk advisory – providing consulting and thought leadership to the region’s Central Banks, SWF’s, Asset Managers, Family Offices and Sell Side institutions. His specialist areas of knowledge focus on Trading, Risk, Structuring/Derivatives, Alternative Investments, FX/Crypto and Technical Analysis.

Prior to joining Bloomberg L.P as a FX and Commodities specialist, Tom worked in FX Sales and Structuring for a leading UK brokerage, covering corporate clients and specializing in corporate hedging strategies.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Cardiff University. Tom was awarded professional charters in Alternative Asset Investing (CAIA), Technical Analysis (CMT) and Risk (FRM).
